Addison wanted a maxi skirt for the first day of school, but clearly it would be easier to make than to buy . . . So I practiced on a skirt for Liv where the stakes were lower since there was less fabric.
So Liv picked that as her first day of school outfit and they were set . . .
Matchy-matchy.
(which she was thrilled about), Mr. Madruga.
She's been growing her hair out for 2 years and boy it's getting long, but it doesn't hold a curl for more than 20 minutes . . . and she's really too old for big bows :(

And little Livvy Lou is in second grade with split teachers again (which we also love), Mrs. Lewis and Mrs. Earl.
I vividly remember thinking I would curl her hair everyday since it only takes a quick 8 minutes and it's just so darn cute.
And here we are at Back to School night . . . all happy and excited, ready for our next big year of learning.
And the last second with my not-so-little girl before she walked into second grade . . . to grow a little older.
