Happy Valentine's Day!

Valentine's morning we had pink, heart pancakes, bacon and orange juice. The girls were over-the-top excited about pink pancakes!
We got them Fancy Nancy books and matching pens with a plume. Olivia naturally broke hers within minutes so we can now tell them apart more easily. (And obviously Olivia has a new special smile for pictures these days.)

Something to Remember . . .
Guy: Two girls, you need a boy.
Ansen: Ya, I know. Luckily, we're having one.
Guy: You're having a baby?! Really?!
Ansen: Ya, Ashleigh's pregnant and it's a boy.
Guy: (Silence)
Ansen: So, either you think my wife is super fat or you're really un-observant.
Guy: I'm not really sure how to answer that.

Battle of the Bands 3

For the last 3 years. Jeff and his band, Diatribe, have preformed at the THS Battle of the Bands. Addison has always loved it and Olivia was finally old enough to get into it. The band has improved amazingly over 3 years. They got 2nd place this year and really (unbiased) they deserved 1st.
DIATRIBE (pronunciation: die-uh-tribe) First there was rock... then there was DIATRIBE. In the summer of 2005, an idea was born in the basement of one young man. His dreams and ideals have contributed to what many call "the next big thing." Humans, and the animal kingdom alike, have been positively influenced by this new wave of high-voltage rock. After their tour of the United Kingdom this summer, DIATRIBE decided to return to their mormon roots in Orem, Utah to finish high school and their adolescent careers with one last, great rock show. In fact, the band motto is: One great rock show can change the world. In the words of AC/DC, "we rock tonight, 'til the guitar bite, and for those about to rock, we salute you!"
Rocking Out
(The still picture doesn't do it justice, but they were dancing
and screaming like maniacs the whole time!)

Resume Rocking Out!
