Just a normal day . . .

Drew learned the love of dressing yourself in your hand picked clothes this summer.

Granted the outfit featured here looks good, this wasn't always the case.  Some favorites were his "work shorts," anything green together, Utah State shirt, and his pirate shirt.

I know those all sounds fine . . . and alone they are, but the combinations rarely are.

And even if we managed a matching one . . . it didn't last long.  Clothing changes were regular and pajamas are never off limits.

The power struggles were frequent and we finally came to an understanding.  He dresses himself and changes as often as he wishes, however when Mom asks then we change to her choice for more important outings.

And the bracelet . . . that's his primary reminder for his talk/prayer/scripture he volunteers for every 3 weeks and then doesn't take it off.

Oh, Jane is the same. She is ridiculous in her choices, and usually ends up with some ugly t-shirt and too-small leggings that don't match in the least. This also happens when Jake dresses her.
