Four!

A few months ago we went to dinner and I told the hostess we had 4 and a baby.  She asked if we needed a highchair.  And dang it all . . . my baby is 4!

He picked his Utah State jersey, pancakes and bacon for the big morning.

Presents . . . the best part!

He wanted Ninjago legos and batman.  What a happy change of interests!  And we were happy to oblige.

Luckily, he still gets excited about clothes.  He and his friend Even try to guess and wear matching clothes on Sunday . . . tie or sweater vest . . . big decision.

Batman from his sisters deserved a big hug.

And Banna whipped him up a Batman cape, compete with finger loops so he can "fly."

It was crazy day . . . so luckily we had a decorating expert on hand.  Though my plan turned out to be a pretty bad idea, she still made it happen.

And he was a happy boy!

As hard as I tried to make the family party be "the party" it didn't work and a week later he was still talking about his party with his friends - so we went with it.

It ended up raining that day, so we had our "picnic" inside on the kitchen floor and inprovised our best with indoor games.   They're 4, so it worked.

The crude face painting was the hit though with these cute, cute kids!
