Livvy Lou Who!

We love our Livvy Lou Who! She makes life so interesting!

(This is how breakfast ended the other morning -that's Addison's milk)

Our little Livvy Lou Who has been up to a lot lately and I haven't had time to post them all. Some I'm able to laugh at and some I couldn't even take a picture of. Let's see . . . my glasses I hide in the very back of my dresser drawer covered in clothes are no longer, she's learned how to get into the bathtub and soak herself while dressed (I know I realize the danger of burns), she picked off 8 letters on my laptop keyboard (you just have to get your fingernail under one and pull hard, the rest are easy), all my lipsticks have had a finger shoved down the middle of them, she threw a fire extinguisher down the stairs and dented the wall pretty good (probably completely my fault since I left it out),

and her latest . . . .

she nearly started an electrical fire with our vacuum! I'm completely at fault for this one. Liv and Addison always want to take turns vacuuming and I let them. I thought it was harmless until last Saturday when Olivia got the cord sucked up into the vacuum and it melted. I went to get a new load of laundry to put in the washer (already sorted in my room, just had to pick it up and walk out) and came back to a burning smell. I thought she was melting the carpet and ripped the cord out and electrocuted myself. It ended up a built up break down for me since Ansen had been gone for 2 weeks and was at work again all Saturday. Luckily it was only a $40 repair and we've moved on.

I'm not a neglectful parent, but I do have to use the restroom from time to time, talk on the phone sometimes, take a shower and make dinner. We have reviewed our consistency as parents and are changing a few things due to the incident so it wasn't all bad.

This is more what I pictured when I found out we were going to have 2 girls!

Take heart my comrade in arms! Our burning smell came from a bedroom light a few years back... Brian had wanted to hide Dustin's bear from him, using the bunk bed's height he hid him on the ceiling light plate that covers the bulbs... nobody noticed until the light had been on for awhile, poor bear never stood a chance. Somewhite gauze and a few tears, "Bandage Bear" is still doing fine!

I feel for you. Somedays start off bad and continue to get worse and you wonder why me. Our Kenyon is a monkey and usually causes havoc a couple of times a day - curtain rod being pulled out of the wall, threw a toy plane which stuck into the wall and made a nice hole that he continues to make bigger, and draws beautiful pictures on my leather ottoman which I am grateful he has not moved onto my walls.

One day I smelled smoke very strong by our basement stairs by the family room. I even asked Kevin but he didn't smell anything. This went on for a few hours and I thought I must be losing my mind. I finally noticed that one of the lamp shades on the lights going down the stairs had been bumped (or rather a toy had been chucked at it) and with the light on was burning a hole through the shade.

I have always been told that when we look back we will laugh but I think that won't happen until they have children of their own doing the same thing.

I am amazed that she was strong enough to pick up a fire extinguisher!! She is hilarious. Her face is so classic in the picture with her spilling Addison's milk. She will definitely keep you on your toes! So I guess I will see you at the reception on Thursday?

Okay...maybe I can see you you mean about her being a little demon. How cute though. She has got the cutest and cheesiest smile ever!

Ohhh Ashleigh!
She IS a handful! Hopefully, someday she'll be helpful! I laughed so hard at the "disclaimer" part- We DO have to leave the room from time to time, and within seconds.. we know what can happen! I am just glad that you have such a positive attitude and I am definitely with you.. it's a good thing they are SO cute!! Love ya!

Those pictures are PRICELESS! I love it, especially with the accompanying stories! Hilarious.

I know you are not a neglectful parent, some kids are just more zany than other kids, like Hallie and Oliva!

Oh i feel your pain. Gavin washed is hands in toilet water yesterday, completely painted himself and the bathroom with palmaid, went to the bathroom and wiped himself with his clothes, and so many more but I think the nail polish and vaccum cord take the cake.
